Should your real estate website be on your own domain? Yes. It stays yours, builds your name in search, and keeps your listing pages under your brand.

Should my real estate website be on my own domain?
Yes. Your real estate website should be on your own domain, because it is the one address you control no matter which platform, brokerage or CRM you use. Every page you publish, including indexable listing pages, builds your name in search under that address. On Savvy Studio you can connect your own domain, and the site also has a free preview address while you build.
A domain is the address people remember, print on signs and share. If your site lives on someone else's address, the attention it earns belongs to them, and it can disappear when you change platforms or brokerages. On your own domain, your neighborhood pages, answer pages and listing pages all add up under one name that stays with you.
Build your site on the free preview address first. When you are ready, connect your own domain; this usually means adding a DNS record at the company where you bought the domain. If you are not sure how, email support@realsavvy.com or text or call (737) 378-8983 and a real person will help. With the IDX add-on, listing detail pages are dedicated, indexable pages on your own domain.
