Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and MCP
MCP for real estate agents explained: what the Model Context Protocol is, and how it lets Claude or ChatGPT build and edit your real estate website for you.
The short answer

What is MCP and what does it mean for real estate agents?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that lets an AI tool like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor call tools in another system. For a real estate agent, that means you can ask your AI in plain English to work on your website. With the RealSavvy connector, it can add MLS search widgets, set up a Follow Up Boss compliant contact form, and build or edit pages on a Savvy Studio site.
An AI chat on its own can only talk. MCP gives it a set of named tools it is allowed to call in another system, plus a description of what each one does. You connect a server once, and the AI decides which tool fits your request. The protocol is open, so many AI tools support it. What the AI can actually do depends entirely on the tools the server offers.
The RealSavvy MCP connector is a remote MCP server for paid RealSavvy and Savvy Studio customers. Once it is connected, your AI tool can work on your real site instead of just giving advice. You describe the result you want, the AI picks the tools, and you review what it did. It works on a site built anywhere, and on a hosted Savvy Studio site it can build and edit the whole site.
The AI never receives listing data. No tool returns listing rows, so addresses, prices and photos never land in a chat or in your site code. Listings reach visitors only through RealSavvy widgets, which carry the MLS credit and disclaimers. On a Studio site, every change lands in a draft, and publishing, deleting a page and restoring an old version ask for your OK first. The connector also does not manage your CRM contacts.

No. You paste one URL into your AI tool once. After that you ask for changes in plain English, like "Put a grid of homes for sale in Bouldin Creek on my neighborhood page."
It is included with a paid plan. The Savvy Studio Website plan is $99/month or $990/year and includes the connector. You can see the product first in the self-guided demo, then sign up.
