Can an AI agent publish changes to your real estate website? Yes, on Savvy Studio. Every edit lands in a draft, and publishing asks for your OK first.

Can an AI agent publish changes to my real estate website?

Yes, on a Savvy Studio site. Through the connector, an AI agent can make changes and publish them, but every change lands in a draft first and studio_publish asks for your OK. Before publishing, the agent should show you studio_draft_changes, because publish puts every draft change live, including earlier ones made by someone else. History and undo are built in.

How a safe publish works

  • Ask for the change, for example "Read my home page and tighten the hero copy."
  • Ask the agent to run studio_preview so you can see the draft
  • Ask: "Show me what changed" so it runs studio_draft_changes
  • Discard anything you do not want with studio_discard_draft
  • Say publish; studio_publish asks you to confirm, then it goes live

What asks first

Publishing, deleting a page, discarding draft changes and restoring an old version all ask for your OK before they happen. Reading pages, editing blocks, writing answer pages and previewing do not change the live site. They only change the draft, which you can review in the Studio editor or through a preview link before anything goes public.

If something goes wrong

Ask the agent to run studio_history to see recent edits, then studio_revert_edit or studio_restore_revision to go back. Restoring asks you first. You can also do this yourself in the Studio editor, which has the same draft, preview and history, plus a manual block editor for small fixes. Questions and manual edits cost no credits.

Sites built elsewhere

On a site you host yourself, the agent changes widgets through the connector, and you deploy your own code changes. Widget setting changes, like a new search area, show up through the existing slot without a new deploy. Code changes go live only when you or your hosting deploys them, so review them as you would any code change.

More questions, answered

Can my team and my AI edit at the same time?

Yes, but the draft is shared. That is why the agent should show studio_draft_changes before publishing: publish makes every draft change live, not just its own.

Can I stop the AI from publishing?

Publishing always asks for your OK. You can also click Turn off in the portal to disable the connector entirely, or New key to cut off a URL you shared.

Do published AI edits cost credits?

Publishing is free. Edits your AI writes itself are free too; only studio_ai_edit and the generate and import tools use Studio credits.
